Meet the New Guy: Mercado (A566598) Mercado arrived on April 2nd and is still fairly new to us, but he is already making a great impression. This boy is such a sweetheart and has quickly earned his title as a social rockstar. He does well with both male and female dogs and handles himself really nicely around others. While he gets along with other dogs, Mercado is not overly interested in playing with them. He is more of a “hang out and coexist” kind of guy and does a great job setting boundaries when needed. He would likely do well in a home with other dogs, especially ones who respect his space. Mercado enjoys playing with toys and absolutely loves hotdogs, which makes him a fun and rewarding companion to spend time with. He walks well on a leash and seems to be housetrained, which are both huge wins for anyone looking to bring a new dog home. ?
