Meet Mila, a 3-year-old, spayed female Pitbull/Staffie mix who currently weighs around 40lbs. Mila is a curious and smart girl who loves to explore and is eager to please. She is very people-oriented and affectionate, always ready for pets and kisses. Mila enjoys playtime, especially with larger dogs who can match her energy, and she does well when meeting new canine friends. She's a big fan of food and treats, so feeding her separately is recommended to ensure smooth sailing in the household. While she hasn't been crate trained, she has proven trustworthy when left unsupervised, provided food is put away and trash cans are secured.
Ideal Home
Mila would thrive in a home with a moderately to very active family who can provide her with plenty of outdoor adventures. An ideal home would include older children (10+ or dog-savvy) and at least one other dog, as she enjoys canine companionship. She would also do well in a home where someone is present more often than not.
Ongoing Health
Mila is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Mila is still young and teachable, quickly picking up new lessons. She has a tendency to jump on other dogs during play, which may not be appreciated by all canine friends. She would benefit from continued training, especially around polite greetings with other dogs. Given her food motivation, separate feeding is recommended. Mila would appreciate a patient and understanding family to help her adjust and learn.
