Meet Trooper!

Trooper is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound handsome boy looking for a devoted companion. He's a sweet soul who enjoys being by your side, whether it's for a nap or just to keep you company. Trooper is intelligent, house-trained, crate-trained, and doesn't shed, making him a low-maintenance addition to the home. He already knows basic commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." He's a pleasure to walk on a leash and a calm passenger in the car. Trooper thrives on kindness, encouragement, and consistency, and he's happiest when he feels safe and loved.

Trooper is a true companion dog and will thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for long hours. He needs a family who understands his need for closeness and can provide the security and love he craves.

Ongoing Health

Trooper is neutered and vaccinated, and he's all ready to go to his forever home!

Training & Support

Trooper is already well-trained in many areas, including house-training, crate-training, and basic commands. He walks beautifully on a leash and rides calmly in the car. He does experience some separation anxiety, so a patient and understanding approach will be key to helping him feel secure. His protective instincts are easily redirected due to his excellent listening skills.

Transporation

Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He can be transported to a location near you via our transport service, which runs once a month. The adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.
