Tahoe Too Handsome Trailblazer

Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome, athletic, and social boy who thrives on activity and engagement. At around 1.5 years old and 57 lbs, he appears to be a Shepherd mix, though his exact breed and age are our best guess. Tahoe is happiest when he's part of the action, whether it's a hike, a backyard hangout, or a training session that challenges his smart shepherd brain. He's a people-lover, ready to be someone's dedicated adventure buddy. His unique coat, stately posture, and outdoor-ready presence are sure to turn heads.

Ideal Home

Tahoe needs an active home where he can be involved in family life. He should not live with cats. He would do best with dogs over 25 lbs, ideally medium to large-sized, confident females or dogs that appreciate playful energy without being overwhelmed.

Ongoing Health

Tahoe is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Tahoe is house-trained, crate-trained, and responds well to guidance and corrections. He is an eager learner and would benefit from continued training to help him thrive. While generally well-behaved, he can get a little enthusiastic in greetings and may gently pop up to say hello. He recovers quickly from stress or overstimulation and is not looking for conflict.

Transportation

Tahoe is currently fostered in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
