Thomas is a total goofball, a loving and people-focused dog who is great with other dogs, fantastic at fetch, and kid-friendly! He's even a great office companion, happily lounging nearby while you work. Thomas is estimated to be around 3 years old and is a Pittie/Retriever mix, offering the best of both worlds: the fun-loving fetcher from his Retriever side and the people-loving, lap-dog cuddler from his Pittie DNA. He weighs in at a snuggly 68 pounds, and is ready to share his abundant affection with his forever family.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can enjoy his zoomies. He is looking for a semi-active family that enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and weekend getaways, but also appreciates cozy snuggle sessions. He is a wonderful friend to other dogs and would do well with doggy siblings. However, he needs to be in a feline-free home.

Thomas is a healthy boy who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and a heartworm preventative. He is microchipped and ready to go!
Training & Support
Thomas is a super smart, treat-motivated, and highly trainable boy who already knows commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He is gentle when taking treats, making training enjoyable. He is fully crate trained and sleeps well with a chew toy, but also loves to sleep in bed with his people. He is also gentle lead trained, which will be provided to his new family.
