Rufus has the kindest eyes and a scruffy little face that will melt your heart! This 2-year-old, 15 lb (and gaining!) neutered Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix is incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to love, despite a difficult past where he was abandoned and left to fend for himself for several days. He's currently underweight but expected to reach a healthy 18-20 lbs. Rufus is a true "Velcro dog," happiest when he's right by your side, whether that's on the couch, following you around the house, or snuggled in your lap. He has a gentle, happy, and easygoing nature that makes him a pure joy to be around.

Ongoing Health
Rufus is expected to reach a healthy weight of 18-20 lbs. As a Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix, he will likely require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and prevent matting.
Training & Support
Rufus is crate trained and settles quietly. He is still working on house training, but this is expected to improve with a consistent routine and after being neutered. He occasionally expresses himself with gentle play nibbles, common for young dogs.
