Her most striking features are her adorable floppy ears adorned with little black polka dots, a charming spotted tummy, and a smile that will melt your heart. Cassie is the epitome of a well-rounded companion, offering affection, calm companionship, and a steady presence that makes any house feel like a home. She loves to lean into you for pets and will gently nudge closer for extra love.
Ideal Home
Cassie would thrive in a home that is looking for a loyal companion rather than a high-energy dog. A home with a yard would be ideal for her to explore, sunbathe, and sniff around at her own pace. She is not a fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been heartworm tested.
Training & Support
Cassie is a smart girl who already knows how to "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She is eager to please and motivated by treats and praise. When it comes to other dogs, Cassie prefers peaceful coexistence and would do best with a calm, respectful male dog companion who also appreciates personal space. If the household gets too rowdy, she may feel the need to supervise, so a mellow environment is key. She would also be perfectly happy as the sole dog in the home.

Cassie is located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide with USDA-certified transport, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track her journey in real time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters via a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
