Sterling (Peg-fostered in TN)

Meet Sterling, a charming 13-week-old puppy with a unique wire-haired coat that hints at some Jack Russell Terrier in his lineage! Weighing in at around 7 pounds, Sterling is expected to grow into a small to medium-sized companion. He found himself at a crowded shelter after being found as a stray, but his sweet nature and playful energy shine through. Sterling adores other dogs and is currently having a fantastic time with all his foster friends!

Ideal Home

Sterling is a bright and energetic pup who enjoys learning and playing. He's already showing great promise with his house training, sleeping through the night and using a doggie door! He's happy to be with other dogs and seems to enjoy the company of cats as well. He's a bundle of love who will be underfoot as much as possible, and he certainly loves his noisy toys. When he does slow down, he's all about the snuggles.

Sterling is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sterling is a smart cookie! He's already doing well with waiting to go outside for business, though occasional accidents happen as he's still a baby. He sleeps through the night and has learned to use a doggie door. He comes when called and enjoys interacting with his humans. Sterling loves his toys and will definitely keep you entertained with his playful antics. He also loves to snuggle when he's had his fill of play.
