Nellie is a loving, balanced, and affectionate young dog who has been in a temporary foster home and is now ready to find her permanent family. She is social, curious, and enjoys being part of everyday life, both indoors and outdoors. She forms strong bonds with her people and does best with guidance, patience, and reassurance. When she feels safe, her true sweet and playful personality shines.

Ideal Home

Nellie would thrive in an active, loving home where she is treated as a true family member. She would do best with someone who can provide attention, structure, and reassurance. A home with another compatible dog would be a bonus. A yard is helpful, but daily walks and enrichment are essential. She tolerates cats only with supervision and would be best in a cat-free home or with dedicated training.

Ongoing Health

Nellie is spayed, vaccinated (DHPP, parvo, coronavirus, likely rabies), dewormed, and flea/tick protected. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Nellie is potty trained and asks to go out. She walks on leash, improving quickly after initial excitement, and knows "sit." She sleeps indoors in her designated spot. She is generally good with people and only barks when necessary, responding well to redirection. She has no separation anxiety and relaxes calmly when left alone.
