Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing approximately 90-95lbs. He's a gentle giant with people, a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and lounging on the couch for movie nights. He was found dumped at the Dallas shelter and is looking for his forever family. Jeffery is crate trained, potty trained, and knows his commands – he's very responsive if you raise your voice, backing up and sitting beside you.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children 12 years or older. He enjoys leisurely walks and hanging around, but he's not a running or hiking partner. He is looking for an ONLY dog home, as he does not like other male dogs and his compatibility with female dogs is questionable. He would not be a good fit for a dog park. He cannot be left on a tie out or have an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is already crate and potty trained and knows his basic commands. He is responsive to gentle correction during walks.
