Maverick

Maverick is a handsome young adult Pit Bull type dog who came to us as a stray. He's been a very good boy during his time here, but we're eager to find him a forever home so he doesn't experience the "shelter rot" that sadly affects many dogs who are misjudged by their looks. Maverick is strong, smart, and eager to please for a tasty treat. He knows the basics and would love to continue his education with advanced training. Maverick has a good amount of energy and would benefit from a daily walk, and he'll happily join you to get your steps in! While he's not a big toy player, he thoroughly enjoys puzzle games that dispense treats. Maverick is curious and observant of his surroundings.

Ideal Home

Maverick's ideal home will have experience with dogs that are strong on the leash. He needs to be the only pet in the household and would do best with children over 12 years old, as he's still learning to manage his strength.

Ongoing Health

Maverick is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Maverick knows basic commands and is eager to learn more. He enjoys puzzle toys and would likely excel in further training.
