Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Labrador mix puppy who is ready to bring joy to her forever home! Weighing 16 lbs, she's expected to reach a medium size of 32-38 lbs. Sol has a happy, energetic personality and is social with other dogs, men, and women. She's also friendly with strangers, approaching new people with curiosity and confidence. Sol absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite dog balls. She also thrives on affection and happily accepts pets and cuddles. She has no history of aggression and while she might be a little cautious in new situations, she is never aggressive and does not bite. This delightful pup is eager to grow, learn, and share her life with a loving, active family.
Ideal Home
Sol would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where she can safely play and explore. She's looking for an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and is prepared to provide her with plenty of playtime and guidance. Families should have a genuine intention to rescue and understand the needs of a rescued animal, including the importance of protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential for this rescued puppy.
Ongoing Health
Sol has received a comprehensive health protocol, including a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, and microchipping. She has also tested negative for heartworm and has had a 4DX test. She is up-to-date on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, and comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
It's important to understand that Sol is not house-trained, as is common with many rescued animals. She will require patience and consistent training to learn house manners. Her rescuers emphasize that rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties from past experiences and need time to adjust. Providing a safe, loving environment, establishing a routine, and offering clear boundaries will help build trust and strengthen your bond.

Transportation
Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is available for transport to the East Coast. Door-to-door delivery is provided through a contracted transport company that organizes scheduled trips 3-4 times a year. A transport fee of $400 USD applies, covering the journey from Mexico to your home. You will receive real-time updates throughout your pet's journey in a private Facebook Messenger group.
