Astra

Astra is a 2-year-old, 50 lb dog with a personality that is shy, mischievous, smart, playful, gentle, and affectionate. She's a sweet lady with expressive eyes, a calm demeanor, and just the right amount of playful energy! This bright star loves playing with her ball, carrying around her favorite bone, joining her people for walks, and relaxing quietly at home. Astra has great house manners and responds well to a firm "no" when a household item catches her eye. She handles being left home alone wonderfully, usually dozing on her dog bed, and will happily greet you when you return before curling up nearby. Astra gets along well with other dogs and enjoys meeting new people. She can be a little shy at first, but a few treats and a gentle introduction are usually all it takes before she's leaning in for affection and becoming your new best friend. Astra is still working on some basics, including potty training, but she's eager to please, highly food-motivated, and genuinely enjoys learning. Astra is ready to meet her forever family and curl up on the couch next to you.
