Frijol

Frijol is a resilient and loving 7-year-old boy who has faced more adversity than any dog should. After surviving a car accident that left both of his back legs broken, his former family chose not to seek veterinary care. The fractures healed improperly, but Frijol, with incredible determination, learned to walk again, though it's awkward and uncomfortable for him. Sadly, his family eventually surrendered him to a shelter, expressing a wish for euthanasia. Fortunately, a foster mom stepped in to provide him with the care and safety he desperately needed. Now, his foster mom can no longer keep him, and Frijol is searching for his forever home, a place where he can finally experience the depth of true love. Despite his past hardships, Frijol's capacity for love remains immense, and he adores people. He truly deserves a chance at happiness.

Ideal Home

Frijol would do best as the only dog in a home where he can receive all the love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Frijol walks with improperly healed fractures in both back legs, which can be awkward and uncomfortable for him.

Training & Support

Frijol is house-trained. He has learned to walk again despite his injuries, showing incredible determination.
