Meet Sixx! This handsome 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix is full of love and playfulness. Sixx was returned to rescue due to what was initially described as allergies, but it became clear that he struggles with anxiety. With the right environment and support, he has truly blossomed! He loves his humans dearly, whether it's engaging in playtime, following you around, or cuddling up on the couch or bed. Sixx is a master of fetch and enjoys playing with any toy he can get his paws on. He’s a joy to be around and will reward his adopters with loyalty, affection, and endless fun.

Ideal Home

Sixx thrives with a confident and playful canine companion, so a home with another dog is a must for him to feel secure and engaged. He’s also great with children and is a loving addition to any family.

Training & Support

Sixx is fully housetrained and uses a doggy door with ease. He's so well-mannered that he doesn't need to be kenneled. He is very treat-motivated, enjoys learning, and is always eager for some fun. He has no issues with food, treat, or toy aggression. He loves walks and is a fan of playing in water.
