Ollie

Meet Ollie! He's a handsome cream doodle, about 6 years old, with a heart as soft as his curls. Ollie's journey to us was a tough one; he came from a home where he experienced neglect and poor living conditions. Thankfully, he found safety with Little Red Barn Sanctuary. Shortly after arriving, he had a serious accident where a cow stepped on his hind left leg, requiring emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he re-broke the leg during recovery, and the difficult decision was made to amputate it.

Despite all he's been through, Ollie remains an incredibly gentle and loving dog. He can be a bit shy at first and needs patience and time to feel comfortable in new environments and around unfamiliar people. But once he trusts you, his sweet personality truly shines through! As a tripod dog, he's impressively independent and manages very well. He might need occasional assistance on slippery floors or stairs, but he adapts beautifully and enjoys moving around on his own terms.
