Val

Meet Miss Val! She's a sweet, humble, and affectionate pit mix, estimated to be around 2 years old. Val had a tough start to life, with a history of having babies and being abandoned, but her spirit remains incredibly loving and calm. She truly appreciates the second chance she's been given and dreams of a quiet, relaxed home that matches her gentle personality. Val's main goals in life are to give and receive love every day.

Val would thrive in a quiet and relaxed home environment where she can continue to feel safe and loved.

Ongoing Health

Val is fully vetted, spayed, and tested heartworm negative. She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and has been dewormed.

Training & Support

Val is kennel trained but would much prefer a soft bed or a spot on the couch. She walks on a leash at her own pace and responds well to encouraging, sweet talk. She is still learning to fully trust being guided.

Transportation

Val is currently located in MS. For non-MA residents, she is scheduled for transport arrival in Smithfield, RI on 7/18/26. For MA residents, pick-up will be from our quarantine facility in Westport, MA on 7/20/26.
