Meet Cooper! He's a bright and active 12-year-old boy who, despite being born deaf, is incredibly smart and responsive. Cooper knows and obeys about 10 hand signals, and he's a master at watching his people and responding when they signal him. He loves to run and play in the backyard, and you'd never guess his age with his energetic spirit!

Ideal Home

Cooper would love a home where he can spend time both indoors and outdoors. A fenced yard is a must to ensure he can run and play safely, and a family who will take him for walks would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Cooper is house and crate trained. He does have some food aggression, so it's best to feed him separately to avoid any issues.

Training & Support

Cooper's deafness means he can't be called by voice, but he's excellent at observing and responding to hand signals. His current family has managed his food aggression by feeding him separately, which has been successful.
