A little about them

Meet Hop, a loving 4-year-old, 17-pound Chihuahua/Spitz mix who is happiest by your side. This playful, affectionate, easygoing companion enjoys walks, neighborhood adventures, car rides, subway rides, and quiet evenings cuddled up on the couch.

Hop is a devoted “velcro dog” who follows his people from room to room and enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He loves pets, belly rubs, cuddles, and quality time, while showing little interest in toys. He is generally quiet, speaking up mainly when it is time to start the day or go for a walk.

Ideal Home

Hop has done well living with dogs and cats after slow introductions and with clear boundaries. He especially enjoys smaller dogs. He should be fed separately from other pets and prefers to enjoy chew bones on his own. His family should continue helping him build confidence and respect his boundaries around food.
