Vinny was discovered as a very young puppy after being abandoned at a gas station outside Houston. Despite his rough start, he’s a happy, loving little guy with a bright personality. With his wispy whiskers, we think Vinny may have some Schnauzer or another bearded breed mixed in with his shepherd heritage. Vinny is incredibly smart and very motivated by treats, which makes learning new tricks easy for him. He already knows sit, wait, off, and fetch (about 90% of the time!) and enjoys continuing to learn. He’s also great at entertaining himself with his toys when he has some alone time. Vinny loves being around his people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even his foster cat. He’s doing very well with house training, though like any dog, he may need a little time to adjust when settling into a new home.
Ideal Home
We are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time and any children are over the age of 5.
Ongoing Health
Vinny's adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care.
Training & Support
