Meet Ryder, your ultimate adventure buddy and professional "let's go!" dog! This one-year-old rescue mix, possibly with a touch of Shepherd and Lab, has a personality that can be perfectly summed up by adventure, good vibes, and pure fun. Ryder is an enthusiastic outdoorsman who absolutely adores water – be it a pool, river, or just a good puddle. He's even been known to lounge on pool floaties like a pro! Camping, hiking, exploring new trails – Ryder is ready for it all, often leading the way or happily chilling in his camping chair.

Ideal Home

Ryder would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, and spending time outdoors. A backyard for him to romp in would be wonderful, but he can also adapt to apartment living as long as his humans are ready for exciting activities. He would love a playful, confident dog friend, especially a female, but he'd also be content as your sole adventure companion. Please note, Ryder is not a fan of cats.

Training & Support

Ryder enjoys being part of a doggy pack and is described as a happy explorer. He is affectionate and loyal with his people, melting for gentle pets and offering a steady, comforting presence.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You will meet your pet through a video call before adoption finalization.
• The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting, microchip, collar, health certificate, and transport costs.
• Adopters receive special perks including behavioral insights, discounts on DNA tests, pet insurance, training sessions, and more.

Transportation

We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
