Hi, I'm Monkey, but my foster mom calls me Moki! I'm about 40 pounds of pure joy and I'm pretty sure I'm 95% perfect – and who needs 100% anyway? That's just boring! My little quirks are what make me, me! I'm a very curious pup and love to explore the world around me. This means I can get a little excited by cats, squirrels, and other dogs when we're out and about. I just want to play, play, play! My foster mom says I have to save that fun for the backyard or doggy daycare. So, a home without cats would be best for me. I also get super excited when visitors come over and might forget my manners and jump, but I'm working on it and I do listen well!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home where I can be your curious companion. A home without cats would be ideal. I love playing with other dogs, so a friendly and playful canine sibling would be wonderful, as long as we have a proper introduction. Respectful, older, and sturdy kids would also be just fine!
Ongoing Health
I'm all up-to-date and ready to go! My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, a wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.
Training & Support
I'm already crate trained and potty trained, which is pretty awesome, right? I do love to scatter my toys sometimes, and I get the zoomies that always make people laugh! I know "sit" and "shake," and I'm happy to entertain myself while you're at work or be your shadow if you work from home.

Transporation
I'm currently in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state! If you are an out-of-state adopter, you will be responsible for coming to get me and for returning me if the adoption does not work out.
