Rocky P

Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and low-energy 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 90 lbs. He was rescued from Houston, TX, where he was found abandoned, hungry, and in need of help. Despite his past, Rocky is an easy-going and well-behaved boy who enjoys leisurely walks on a leash. He is crate-trained and house-trained, and he loves to relax indoors.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can have his own space and food bowl, as he can be protective of his food due to his past experiences of scarcity. He gets along well with large dogs, especially females, and is good with cats, showing no reactivity towards them. He enjoys resting and needs a best friend who can dedicate time for the longer walks he truly enjoys.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and vaccinated. He is currently heartworm negative (HWN).

Training & Support

Rocky is already crate-trained and house-trained. While he can protect his food, providing him with his own dedicated food bowl and space will help manage this. He needs more activity and longer walks, which his ideal home will be able to provide.
