Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old, male Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He was rescued with his mom and littermates from a rural dumping area outside of Houston. Bullseye is the quiet observer of his litter, often taking things in before joining the fun. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, and romping with his siblings. He's gentle, thoughtful, and has a calm presence that makes him an instant favorite. Bullseye is potty trained but may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has done well with children. He is crate-trained and is building confidence with leash walking and basic obedience.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide consistent positive reinforcement, ongoing socialization, and help him continue to mature into a well-adjusted adult dog. We prefer a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help guide him, but we will consider homes without other dogs if you have a solid plan for continued socialization. Homes where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are preferred.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
