Miss Zambie is a sweet 3.5-month-old German Shepherd mix who is the resident cuddle bug! She might be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she's incredibly devoted and loving. Zambie enjoys being close to her people and soaking up all the affection. With her striking black and tan coat, soulful eyes, and adorable white blaze, she's sure to capture your heart. She thrives on companionship and forms deep connections. Zambie enjoys playtime with her siblings but is just as happy napping afterward. She's adjusted well to a structured routine of feeding, play, and rest, and she's an excellent sleeper, both at night and during the day. Zambie has been exposed to children and adults and does wonderfully with them. She also lives with an adult German Shepherd and has adapted well to life alongside other dogs, enjoying being part of the pack. She calms down beautifully when listening to classical music, which highlights her gentle nature.

Ongoing Health
Zambie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She also has a microchip with free lifetime registration and comes with a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Zambie is making great progress with crate training and potty training and continues to thrive with consistency and routine. She is learning important puppy skills and gaining confidence daily. Like all puppies, she will need patience, guidance, and continued training as she grows.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with other adopters and fosters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
