Scooby

Meet Scooby, a lively 1-year-old who is believed to be a Red Heeler mix. He's already fixed, up-to-date on his shots, and crate-trained. Scooby is good with other dogs and children, but he does have a strong prey drive and will chase cats. This energetic boy weighs between 30-35 lbs and thoroughly enjoys his walks and baths. Scooby's previous owner rescued him from a difficult situation where he was kept chained under a trailer. While they provided him with a safe haven, their growing family means they can't give him the attention he deserves. Scooby is generally well-behaved, but he can get bored and resort to chewing if not provided with enough stimulation.

Ideal Home

Scooby would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Because he will chase cats, a home without feline friends would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Scooby is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. His previous owner has his veterinary paperwork.

Training & Support

Scooby can be a bit of a chewer when he's bored, so providing him with engaging toys and activities will be key to his success. He is described as being "hyper," so consistent exercise and training will help him channel that energy positively.
