Myrtle

Meet Myrtle! This sweet hound girl is about 2 years old and is looking for an active family to call her own. Myrtle came to us needing some extra care and patience, as she missed out on some meals and proper treatment before her rescue. She's learning to trust and enjoy life as a carefree dog, and with a little time and understanding, she'll blossom into the best companion! Myrtle loves her people, enjoys walks and hikes, is a fantastic car rider, and has a true appreciation for ALL the snacks! She has done well with most dogs and would likely do best in a home that can keep her engaged and active.

Myrtle would thrive in an active home that can provide her with plenty of engagement and opportunities for walks and hikes.

Ongoing Health

Myrtle has received a spay, heartworm test, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccine (if old enough), age-appropriate wormer, flea preventative, heartworm preventative, and a microchip with registration.

Training & Support

Myrtle will need patience from her humans as she learns how to be treated like a cherished dog and how to simply enjoy being a carefree pup. She is great in the car and loves snacks!
