Lucky and his siblings Clover, Stevie, and Russo, known as the "Lucky Charms" puppies, were rescued from a ranch in Gatesville. They are most likely an Akbash/Great Pyrenees mix and are currently being fostered in the Austin area. Lucky is learning about crates and soft beds in the house, and he is getting slow, careful introductions to farm life and livestock. He gets along with other dogs and is learning to respect the resident cats. Lucky could be adopted as a family pet or as a future Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD).
