Meet Zena!

Zena is a spirited five-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/German Shepherd mix with a vibrant personality and a striking black-and-white coat. She's a friendly and affectionate large-breed girl, weighing around 80 pounds, who can be a little cautious with new people but warms up quickly with kindness and tasty treats. Zena has a wonderful history of living harmoniously with children, cats, a puppy, and even rabbits. While she's selective with unfamiliar dogs, positive introductions can help her make new canine friends.

Ideal Home

Zena thrives with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking and long walks. She'd do well in a home with a physically capable guardian who can continue her leash training, as she can pull when excited.

Ongoing Health

Zena is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She manages some anxiety during veterinary visits with medication and is otherwise in good health.

Training & Support

Zena knows commands like "sit," "paw," and "lay down," and comes when called. She is house-trained. Continuing her leash-training journey will be beneficial due to her strength and occasional pulling when interested in something.
