Meet Thor!

Thor is a charming 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix with a personality as grand as his good looks. He's still very much a puppy at heart and is eager to find a family to help him grow into the best boy he can be. When Thor first arrived, he was a bit shy, but with the help of a canine friend, his sweet, playful, and loving nature truly blossomed. His absolute favorite thing is toys – he's happiest when he can chase, tug, chew, or simply carry his beloved playthings around. Thor also adores being outdoors and would thrive in a home with ample space to explore.

Ideal Home

A home with plenty of space to roam, such as a farm or a large fenced yard, would be ideal for this active and adventurous pup.

Ongoing Health

While at the shelter, Thor has not displayed any observed food-reactive tendencies, even with careful testing. However, it's important to be aware that behavioral challenges can sometimes resurface in a new environment, and potential adopters should be prepared to continue working with him if needed.

Training & Support

Thor has shown no behavioral issues beyond normal puppy play-biting and responds well to corrections. He has not received formal obedience training, but he is incredibly smart and will benefit greatly from consistent training, structure, and positive reinforcement. He previously lived with cats and children, and while not tested at the shelter, proper introductions and supervision will be essential.
