This handsome guy absolutely loves being out and about with his people. Whether you're exploring the trails, setting up camp, or spending the day at a community event, Bear is always ready to tag along. His recall is excellent, and he has no interest in wandering far from his person—he'd much rather stick by your side and be part of the fun. Bear truly is one of the easiest, most friendly dogs you'll ever meet. He loves everyone he encounters and fits seamlessly into just about any outing. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who is equal parts adventure partner and cuddle buddy, Bear may be your perfect match. Bear is from the Eagleson Litter that turned two years old in April. DNA test from a littermate showed 40+% Bouvier des Flandres, 26+% Catahoula Leopard Dog, 19% Siberian Husky, and 14+% Labrador Retriever.

Bear is looking for a home that will embrace his adventurous spirit and provide him with plenty of opportunities to explore and be part of the action. He thrives with an active family who enjoys the outdoors.
Ongoing Health
Bear has Addison's Disease, which is very manageable with routine care. He is part of KPAL Rescue's Senior & Special Needs Pet Program! KPAL Rescue will contribute up to $2,400 total toward Bear's future veterinary care, helping ensure he continues to thrive for years to come. His ongoing needs include daily medication (approximately $10/month), a monthly injection (approximately $100/month), and routine bloodwork once yearly to monitor his condition. With proper treatment, dogs with Addison's can live happy, active, and normal lives.
Training & Support
Bear's recall is excellent, and he shows no interest in wandering far from his person. He is described as one of the easiest, most friendly dogs, fitting seamlessly into outings.

- KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper & Rabies, microchipped, etc.).
- Bear is in our SAS Pet Program. The adoption fee ($350) can be credited towards the adoptive family's chosen veterinary clinic for future medical expenses (like medications).
- Additional funds ($2400 including the credited adoption fee) are available to help with the cost of his medications/care.
