LINDY

Lindy is a sweet, petite lady who is looking for her forever home! She's a lap dog for sure, always looking for snuggles and likes to be close. Lindy is crate and house-trained and is treat-motivated, which will likely make training even easier. She knows some basic commands like sit, out, no, and down, and is even working on a spin! Lindy is friendly with men, women, and kids, and seems to like anyone with treats after a slow introduction. She loves her squeaky toys and a good game of tug-of-war (she will not let you win!). Lindy could run up and down the stairs all day, but she's happy to match your energy if you're down to sit and chill. She also loves being outside! Lindy can be a little strong on leash at times, but she walks better with a harness and is improving her leash skills every day. She's timid at first but warms up quickly and will benefit from positive reinforcement and confidence building. Lindy rarely makes any noise, except on walks when she sees small dogs. She is cautious but does not bark at larger dogs. Lindy respects boundaries and is happy to sleep on her dog bed or the floor if she's not allowed on furniture. She's not mouthy and hilariously prefers to cross her legs when she sleeps or sploot flat on her tummy.

Ideal Home

Lindy would love a home where she can get plenty of snuggles and be close to her people. She enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures but is also happy to relax.

Ongoing Health

Lindy has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lindy is crate and house-trained and knows several basic commands. She is improving her leash walking skills with a harness and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and confidence-building exercises.
