Scooter

Scooter is a very sweet, laid-back, and relaxed boy who loves with his whole heart! He is incredibly friendly and calm when he's at home, and he forms very strong attachments to his family. He's good with children and cats, and he doesn't react to deer, golf carts, walkers, bikers, or small dogs when out on walks.

Ideal Home

Scooter would love a foster family, foster-to-adopt situation, or a forever home. He thrives with calm energy and the use of positive reinforcement, especially when encountering larger dogs.

Ongoing Health

Scooter is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Scooter is responsive to treats on walks, he does show reactivity (barking and pulling) towards larger dogs. This is easily managed by giving him about 20-30 feet of distance, and he has done very well with this strategy. He has worked with a trainer and would benefit from continued training to build his social confidence.
