Float

Meet Float, a charming 7-8-year-old, 53 lb gentleman with a heart as big as his paws! Float's journey began as a stray, enduring a long stay in a shelter that sadly faced closure. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time and brought to safety. His first vet visit revealed he's partially blind and has arthritis in his back legs, but this has in no way dimmed his wonderfully friendly and easygoing spirit. Despite his challenges, Float navigates his surroundings with surprising ease, quickly learning his way around new spaces. He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and other dogs, and he particularly enjoys playing with his canine friends and embarking on leisurely sniffaris.

Ideal Home

Float would love a home where he can feel safe and loved. His partial vision loss means he may occasionally bump into things as he explores, but he adapts quickly.

Ongoing Health

Float has partial vision loss and arthritis in his back legs. He is also prone to pressure sores on his elbows due to his past living conditions, so a comfortable bed is a must!

Training & Support

Float is house-trained and friendly with everyone he meets. His gentle nature makes him a joy to be around.
