I've been waiting a long time for my person — longer than most. I was found as a stray, and when no one came for me, I spent a good while at another shelter before landing here at Flagler Humane Society. I won't pretend that's been easy. But somehow, I still wake up every day ready to love whoever walks through my kennel door.

When my leash goes on, I can't help but do a few happy little hops on the way out — I just can't contain myself! And on our walks, I love checking in with my person, looking up like, "Hey, you still there?" (Sometimes I also check in with their treat pouch. Priorities.) I'm enthusiastic, affectionate, and genuinely crazy about human connection.

I should mention — cats aren't really my thing, and I can be a little pushy with other dogs, so I'd do best as the star of the show. But with people? I give everything I've got. I've chosen joy through all of it. I just need someone to finally choose me back.
