Sunshine (simba)

Sunshine, also known as Simba, is a young, medium-sized male mixed breed dog with a golden coat. He's a sweet boy who was sadly abused in a previous home, so he's looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help him feel safe and loved. He's currently living with a foster family and doing well with their resident dogs, though he can be a bit selective and takes time to warm up to new canine friends. A meet-and-greet with any potential dog siblings is a must!

Ideal Home

Simba needs an adult-only home. He can be a runner if he gets loose, so he needs to be leashed when outside or have a securely fenced yard that's at least high.

Ongoing Health

Simba is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Simba is partially housebroken and does well if taken out on a consistent schedule. He needs an experienced dog owner who understands his past trauma and can provide him with the patience and consistency he needs to continue building his confidence.
