Blaze is a handsome 72-pound Alaskan Malamute with a heart as big as his breed suggests. Found wandering the streets of Harris County, TX, this approximately two-year-old boy was abandoned and left to fend for himself. Despite his rough start and the cruelty he's experienced, Blaze's spirit remains unbroken. He still trusts people and yearns for a loving family to call his own. He's ready to offer unconditional love to the family who will cherish him forever.

Blaze is looking for a family who will promise he'll never be just a number again and will commit to him for a lifetime.

Ongoing Health

Blaze is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm but has begun slow-kill treatment and is on the path to recovery.

Blaze is ready to give his whole heart; he just needs someone willing to accept it and provide him with a lifetime of love, safety, and commitment.
