Duke

Duke is a handsome boy who was found as a stray in Stanislaus County with a collar embedded into his neck. He was understandably nervous at first, but with a little time and patience, he's blossomed into quite the love! His neck is healing nicely, and he's learning to trust in leaps and bounds. Duke seems to really enjoy the company of people and is also calm around other dogs, though he would love to play. He's reported to be good with cats and small dogs too. Duke is on the younger side of senior and is looking for a quiet home that will meet his needs, both mentally and physically. Walks, hikes, and some fun puzzle toys will go a long way with this gem. We are enjoying watching Duke begin to shine like the diamond he is inside. He is going to make someone a wonderful and loyal companion.
