Meet Drax, a delightful 8-year-old American Cattle Dog mix who weighs in at a sturdy 70 lbs. Visually, he resembles an American Bully mix and is currently residing in Houston, Texas. Drax is our longest-staying "Underdog," and we're baffled as to why he's still waiting for his forever family! He's a big-hearted goofball who greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags, slobbery kisses, and a signature smile. After years of watching other pups find their homes, Drax is more than ready to claim a couch and a family to love.

Drax thrives as the center of attention, so he's looking for a home where he can be your one-and-only pet, receiving all your love and affection. He's a devoted companion who would do best with a family that is home often.

Training & Support

Drax is a gentleman in public and walks beautifully on a leash. He's also a fantastic co-pilot for car rides! While crates aren't his favorite right now, he's certainly capable of adjusting with a consistent routine and proper training. To help him settle in, the rescue will provide a complimentary heavy-duty crate.

Drax is located in Houston, Texas. Out-of-state transport is included in the adoption fee for residents of MA, CT, VT, MD, NJ, IL, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, ID, UT, OR, and WA. Local meet and greets are available for Texas residents.
