Storm (AO36631)

Storm is a gentle, sweet-natured boy looking for a loving home where he'll feel safe. He's a timid boy, but he's already made so much progress in the short amount of time we've had him. We rescued Storm from a hoarding situation where 30 Lab mixes had been abandoned in a house after the tenants moved out. You can see photos taken from the rescue posted May 23 on our Friends of KCK Animal Services Facebook page. Storm has already warmed up to our staff and volunteers, and his tail wags when he sees one of his new human friends—it is so sweet! He's beginning to explore and he's doing well walking on a leash now. Storm is 5 years old and weighs 61 lbs.

Ideal Home

Having another dog in the home would be comforting for Storm and help him learn to trust by example. If you have a dog or children, we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

Ongoing Health

Storm has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested for heartworms.

Training & Support

We've already witnessed a lot of progress in the short time we've had Storm, and with time and patience, he will be such a great companion and so devoted to his new family.

• We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. • We are open Monday through Friday by appointment only.
