Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are perfect for a good scratch! She's incredibly smart and has a lot of energy, but she's also happy to nap most of the day while you're busy. Grace was a wonderful mom to her 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She's already a pro at sitting, lying down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and often naps in it voluntarily because it makes her feel safe, and she sleeps there soundly every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is working on "roll over," "shake," and "down," and is learning to be more zen about squirrels on walks. She's a very strong girl, so her new family should be prepared to give her their full attention, especially on walks (no AirPods for the first few walks!). Grace currently lives with her foster parents and has no experience with other children, adults, or pets. She notices when her people are away, so a home where she can form a strong bond and feel secure is ideal. She has shown signs of past trauma and can have a difficult time initially meeting men, but with a proper introduction, she can overcome this.

Training & Support

Grace is working on her "roll over," "shake," and "down" commands, as well as her reaction to squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will require a family that can dedicate their full attention to her on walks. She benefits from a consistent routine and can notice changes in her environment.
