Thanos

My name is Thanos, and I'm a handsome adult male mixed breed dog who arrived at the shelter as a stray on December 29, 2023. I'm looking for a loving home where I can finally relax and get all the attention I crave. The shelter staff loves me, but I dream of a warm, safe, and dry environment with my own people.

When I get excited, I might jump up, but it's only because I'm so eager for attention and don't realize my own strength! I know some basic commands, but I need consistent daily practice to keep them fresh in my mind. I'm a smart boy who thrives on structure and physical activity, and I promise to be a loyal best friend if you can provide that for me.

Ideal Home

I'd do best in an adult-only home or a home with children 13 years or older due to my size and playful energy. I also need to be the only dog in the household, as I haven't gotten along with other dogs in the past.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I know some basic commands but benefit from daily reinforcement. I can sometimes jump up when excited, so consistent training and redirection will be key to helping me learn to manage my enthusiasm.
