Mia

Mia is an adorable 3-year-old Yorkie mix weighing about 10 pounds with a personality as big as her heart. She came into rescue with her four one-week-old puppies and was an incredible mama. Now that all of her babies have found their forever homes, it's finally Mia's turn to be someone's baby. Mia is a happy, curious, and confident little girl who loves to play! Whether she's carrying around toys, stealing a sock, enjoying a bully stick, or romping around with her dog friends, she's always ready for fun. She also loves spending time with her people and has so much love to give. Mia has settled into her foster home wonderfully and is ready to make the transition into her forever home. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate little companion with a fun-loving spirit and a heart of gold, Princess Mia is ready to reign over her forever home.

Ideal Home

Mia would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would also love a home with another small, playful dog to be her companion, but it's not required if she's the right match for your family. Mia is not a good fit for a home with cats, as she thinks chasing them is a fun game.

Ongoing Health

Mia does have chronic dry eye, so she'll need lubricating eye drops every day. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, HW negative and on preventatives.

Training & Support

Mia is doing great with house training, walks beautifully on a leash, and comes when called. She can be a little cautious around new men, but she warms up quickly once she realizes they are friends.

Transporation

Mia is located in North Carolina and can be transported to the Northeast.
