A little about them
Freya is a 2.5-year-old, 68-pound Doberman with a sweet, loyal, playful personality and an adorably goofy side. She loves her people, toys, car rides, walks, outdoor adventures, and relaxing quietly beside her family.
Freya is affectionate, gentle, curious, independent, friendly, and well-mannered. She may be shy or timid when meeting new people, dogs, or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but she is not aggressive and warms up with patience and reassurance. Once comfortable, she enjoys running and playing with canine friends. She is also great with cats and children of all ages.
Ideal Home
Freya would thrive with an active family who wants to include her in everyday life through walks, hiking, running, biking, outdoor play, and car rides. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful. Her adopters should be patient and supportive as she adjusts, especially during storms and periods of separation anxiety.
She has a fairly high squirrel prey drive, but responds well to “leave it” and redirection. Her favorite squirrel-shaped toys are a great outlet for her playful nature.
Ongoing Health
Freya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention. She has no known health concerns. A health certificate will be provided before transport.
Training & Support
Freya is house trained, crate trained, food motivated, and walks well on a leash. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and is crated when her family is away. She knows Sit, Down, Come, Crate, Leave It, and House; when told “House,” she comes and sits between your legs.
