Herschel is an awesome, social, friendly, and cuddly Pit Bull Terrier Mix looking for his forever home. This 74-pound, black and white bundle of adoration is always happy to greet everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a desire for belly rubs and hugs. Herschel enjoys playtime with other friendly dogs and brings a positive, upbeat energy that is sure to put a smile on your face. He loves children and would enjoy a home with plenty of family members to shower with affection.

Ideal Home

Herschel would love a home with a fenced backyard, some fun toys, comfy beds for napping, and potentially another friendly dog to play with. He also enjoys going on walks and adventures.

Ongoing Health

Herschel is healthy and up to date on all his vaccines and vet services. He is currently on thyroid medication, which will need to continue for him to stay healthy and happy. His adoption fee includes a month of Simparica Trio, and he should remain on heartworm and flea/tick prevention for life.

Herschel is described as very well-behaved and eager to please.

Transportation

Herschel is located at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. You can visit him Monday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 7 PM, or Saturday and Sunday between 8 AM and 4 PM. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. They are closed on all major holidays. No appointment is necessary to meet Herschel, and adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
