Penny Love The Easy Going Lovebug

Penny Love is a delightful Lab mix, approximately 1.5 years old and weighing around 70 lbs. She's an easygoing, kind-hearted girl with a steady, loving presence. Penny's energy is beautifully laid-back; she's not constantly on the go but enjoys relaxing near her people. She has a rare "young dog with an old soul" vibe, making her incredibly comforting to be around. While she loves company, she's not clingy and is happy to keep you company from a comfortable distance. Penny is a dream in her foster home, a truly wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Penny Love would do best in a home with a calm, mature male dog who enjoys gentle companionship and respects her space. If there are no other dogs, she's perfectly content being the center of attention. She is also cat-friendly and would do well with aloof cats who keep to themselves, similar to her current feline housemates. A home with a nice big backyard would be ideal for her to roam and play, though she can also adapt to apartment living due to her mellow nature.

Ongoing Health

Penny Love is a rescue dog, so her exact breed and age are a best guess. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Penny Love is potty trained and is making progress with crate training. She is learning basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. She is a polite and well-mannered girl who enjoys casual strolls and snuggling.
