About German Shorthaired Pointer Puppies

Our litter of German Shorthaired Pointer puppies are from registered parents and can also be registered. These energetic pups have already begun their training journey! They've been introduced to gun conditioning, desensitized to nail grooming, and have started house training. They're also learning with a "wing on a string" to hone their natural instincts. Our puppies enjoy daily outdoor play and socializing with our two young children, making them well-rounded and ready for their forever homes.

Ideal Home

This breed is known for its high energy and need for activity. We recommend an active household that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

All puppies are up-to-date on vaccinations and have been vet checked.

Training & Support

These puppies have a fantastic head start with their training, including socialization with children and early desensitization. Continued training and socialization will be key to their development.

Meet TJ'S HIGH COUNTRY. Todd and Jessica have been raised to love animals. From the rivers to the fields and from the farm to the top of the mountains we always have our dogs with us. Our experience in animal husbandry is primarily in sheep, goats and equine. We occasionally raise a litter of puppies to share our excellent hunting dogs and start the next generation of field champions. Our dogs spend most of their time pointing quail, chukar and pheasant. We have done limited shed hunting in the mountains but they are quick to located the training aids. These puppies have started training already, including house training. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
