Maiya is a sweet and gentle Boxer mix with a heart full of love to give! This 48 lb lady has an estimated birthday of March 13, 2024. Maiya spent much of her life as a stray, but has since learned the joys of a loving home, complete with full bellies, soft beds, and kind hands. She recently raised three puppies who have all found their forever families, and now Maiya is hoping it's her turn to be chosen. She's known for being incredibly gentle and easy-going, especially with children. She had a wonderful introduction to a one-year-old, sharing curiosity and tenderness, and even sharing sweet kisses! Maiya loves spending time with people, soaking up affection, and enjoys going for walks. She has excellent leash manners and will be a happy companion on any adventure. All Maiya wants is a family to love, a cozy place to call her own, and the reassurance that her stray days are behind her forever.

Transportation
Maiya is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
