Meet Slim, a young male Cane Corso who is a true gentle giant in the making! From the streets of Detroit, Slim has overcome hardship with incredible resilience. He arrived severely emaciated, weighing under 40 pounds, but thanks to dedicated care, he's now healthy, thriving, and on his way to a goal weight of around 100 pounds. Slim's spirit is strong, and his heart is full of love. He's goofy, affectionate, and adores playing with other dogs of all sizes, showing he's truly part of the pack. If there's attention to be had, Slim is all in, especially if it involves his favorite toys or a good belly rub!

Ideal Home

Slim would thrive in a home where he can continue to be social with other dogs. He is also kid-friendly, and while he loves everyone, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up due to his size.

Ongoing Health

Slim is still gaining weight and working towards his healthy goal of around 100 pounds. He is spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Slim is a toy enthusiast and a belly-rub champion! He is well on his way to reaching his ideal weight and continues to show his strong spirit.
