Princess

Princess is a lovely 3-year-old Shepherd and Terrier mix, weighing around 31 lbs. She's a beautiful brindle girl with charming pointy ears and a sweet expression. Princess is looking for a loving forever home to trade in her shelter life for a cozy couch. She's been taking recent changes in stride and is sure to be a wonderful companion, ready to be spoiled with treats, walks, and affection.

Ongoing Health

Princess tested positive for heartworms, but she is receiving treatment. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. If left untreated, heartworm is life-threatening, but after treatment, dogs should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Dogs that have been treated for heartworm can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss where in the treatment process Princess is right now!

Training & Support

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
